A MAJOR tourist hotspot was engulfed in flames Thursday night, leaving crew struggling to put out the fire.
50 firefighters from three different cities scrambled to get to the multi-alarm fire on the Atlantic City boardwalk in New Jersey around 7 pm.
The fire reportedly started under the boardwalk near South Tennessee Avenue, officials told CBS News.
Flames also reportedly reached a nearby store.
There were at least three fire alarms that went off due to the fire, FOX affiliate WTXF said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
While no injuries have been reported, the fire was still not completely put out as of 9 p.m.

They were still working on putting out hot spots at 10 pm, per CBS.
Firefighters from nearby cities including Ventnor, Absecon, and Pleasantville responded, local news Breaking AC reported.
A live stream of the scene shows caution tape blocking off the area.
People have been warned by the Atlantic City Office of Emergency Management to be cautious in the area.

An investigation has been launched for the cause of the fire.
All of the stores were closed when the fire erupted, CBS reported.
"Thank God no one was there. Everything is fine. It is material, so just try to rebuild and move on," Raul Coreas, a man who was near the scene told CBS.
Patti Goldberg, an employee of Central Pier Arcade, commended the work of the firefighters.

Atlantic City is known for its boardwalk, casinos, and electrifying entertainment scene.
It's a vacation spot for adults with tons of nightlife, world-class dining, and luxurious resorts to indulge in.
The New Jersey haven is famous for its historical significance as a seaside resort town that attracts visitors from around the world.
Some of its most iconic attractions include the Steel Pier, the Absecon Lighthouse, and its beaches.
Atlantic City has also been dubbed the "Gambling Capital of the East Coast."
People responded to videos of the fire on X in shock over the massive burn.
"This is horrible," one said.
"That looks serious hope no one got hurt," another said.
Another said, "That's insane."

The Atlantic City Fire Department did not immediately respond to The U.S. Sun's request for additional information.
