There's really no other way of saying this, so here goes.

Police in Newfoundland say a driver who crashed into a moose Thursday morning was probably distracted by looking at another driver who had also struck a moose.

There were multiple moose crashes near Holyrood, N.L, according CBC News. Four crashes were reported within an hour and a half.

Three of the crashes were on the Trans-Canada Highway, The Telegram reports. There was even a fifth crash near the community of Bellevue.

No one was injured, but all the moose involved were killed, according to the National Post.

Police also estimate there to be thousands of dollars in damages.
