Sen. Elizabeth Warren voiced support for reparations for Native Americans during a campaign stop in New Hampshire.
The Massachusetts Democrat, who has been dogged by her claims of Cherokee heritage, said Native Americans should be “part of the conversation” on reparations.
“America has an ugly history of racism. We need to confront it head on, and we need to talk about the right way to address it and make change,” Warren said Friday.
She is also one of four Democratic presidential hopefuls have recently said that they’re open to providing some type of reparations to African-Americans.
