Cortex Business Solutions Announces Membership with the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business

CALGARY, Alberta, July 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cortex Business Solutions Inc. (“Cortex”) (TSXV:CBX), a North American network-as-a-service e-invoicing solutions provider, today announces its membership with the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB).  Through this membership, Cortex intends to foster business relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal businesses and communities to advance sustainable economic growth across Canada.

In addition to becoming a member of the CCAB, Cortex joins companies such as Imperial, Suncor, CIBC, and Hydro One as a named Aboriginal Procurement Champion within the organization. The Aboriginal Procurement Champions Group is a key element of the CCAB’s Aboriginal Procurement Strategy, “Supply Change”, which aims to create national Aboriginal supplier diversity by increasing opportunities for Aboriginal businesses to participate in their supply chain.
